Greengage Lighting Ltd - History Greengage Lighting Ltd was established in April 2008 by a group of highly experienced individuals with many years' experience in lighting technology, commercial applications, manufacturing, marketing, and international business operations.

The glo brand was created during the summer of 2008. By September 2008, the company had secured exclusive dealings with one of China's most important LED factories allowing it to confidently deliver first-stage solutions to a variety of commercial applicaitons. A few months later and Greengage had secured close working arrangements with the leading component businesses in the Far East.

The first purpose-built solution, the glo AGRILAMP was released in January 2009; in the same month the business secured a major funding round from a collection of international investors.
